If you’re a pet owner, you’ve worried about ticks before. Whether you’re taking your furry friend for a hike far away or just in the foothills, ticks are always in the back of your mind. Checking for ticks can certainly help, but being ready for them and knowing what to do is even more important. If you bring one back and don’t know it, they can repopulate locally and cause you issues in and around your house. That’s where we come in.

Ticks are tiny bugs with eight legs and flat, oval bodies. They are often noticed when they begin to engorge during the feeding process. They attach themselves to their hosts and will feed until they become exponentially larger. Many times, they are found nesting in the woods or shrub areas, so those who spend a lot of time hiking in the outdoors should be particularly careful to inspect themselves and their animals after taking a hike. While they are often innocuous, ticks can carry a variety of diseases– most notably Lyme Disease– which can cause permanent damage to people.

Our certified technicians will come out and inspect the property for you. If we find any nesting patterns, we will aggressively attack that area, covering it in potent product that will wipe out any nests for existing ticks. We will note that area and return at the end of the product potency, ensuring that we continue to treat the area so that the eggs that are left behind don’t repopulate.
